You didn't do much that you said that you would.
You also didn't say "I'm going out of town".. you said "I'll overnight the title". On more than one occasion. You didn't. That after I put 5500 dollars in some dude's account that I had never even heard of. That's weird.
I put the Money Directly into the account as per your instructions when you said to do it.
You did not provide keys and you told me "it's a driver" when you don't HAVE the keys.
I specifically asked you to list problems with the car. No keys, cracked windshield, and no battery were not among them. You said the car was fine, runs and drives, no smoke, interior ok, etc. You didn't say "Interior has a fucking windshield in the back seat". Lying about a car is bad. You need to avoid it.
It isn't my fault you sold a car that is a 270 mile round trip. That's your fault. Don't lay it on me. It's also not my fault that you have cars all over the state. You made the trip because you wanted to sell the goddamn car. I did you a favor by buying it, not the other way around. As for the speedy pick up..... I could have gotten 4 other carriers to pick it up the same day. One for 100 dollars less. Want to see the quotes? The timing was a coincidence... not something you did. It just happened to work out better for David and easier for me.
And I was not being a dick... and I didn't call you a dick either. I did point out that you were a "freakin' goof" for screwing with the local Sheriff's Dept. and that it was a dumb idea. I do apologize for the crack about hunting you down. I didn't mean it that way. What I meant was "having law enforcement people check you out and dig into your business". I guess I should have been a bit clearer about the Wife/Sheriff connection when we started this. I just told you I didn't want her to say "I told you so".. I didn't say what that meant. Still, that does not give you the excuse to flake out on me.
I think I'm a pretty considerate asshole. I think that you are the inconsiderate asshole. You've done nothing but bullshit me and it's pretty weird to see you paint yourself as the victim here and start whining like a little she hound. Do unto others Larry.
As long as I get my title and the car in the condition YOU described... then we are done. If it doesn't run, has no engine, ain't the same car, is stolen, has no tranny or rear end, was on fire, or whatever else might be fucked up about it, then we aren't done. As long as you haven't lied about anything else then I'll call off the dogs and you can go about your somewhat unorthodox business any way that you please. I would suggest that you tighten up a bit and be truthful if you don't want to end up in trouble.
It amazes me to see you totally ignore everything you've bullshitted me about and play up the two things that you didn't mess up. It also amazes me to think that you sell as many cars as you do by bullshitting everyone about everything. I've bought a few cars from Pictures only. But I've had people look at them for me. I didn't in your case and that was a mistake I'll not make again. Like I said.. the wife warned me about trusting you, but I insisted that you were a straight shooter even after the bullshit started flying and the expenses started adding up. This car should be sitting in my driveway for $5500 plus $700 for the shipping. As it stands, it'll be sitting in a parking lot 3 miles away with a cracked windshield, no keys, and no battery. And I STILL don't have the title... just another promise from you. See why I am pissed off yet? You are lucky I'm NOT a vindictive prick or you'd be paying to get me a key and a wrecker. Talk about frustration and stress. I'm the one who got jerked around here....not you.
